Program Note:

Let No Man Put Asunder is a phrase most often associated with wedding vows.  The piece is dedicated to the memory of Pam and Cliff Nicholson and most importantly, is devoted to their time spent together; a beacon of light and an aspiration for my own marriage.  Cliff passed away in January 2012, leaving Pam to continue on without her other half, closest confidant, and best friend. The music explores the often intense emotions felt by one who has lost a spouse due to death: grief, fear, anger, wonderful memories, and ultimately hopeful anticipation for their reunion after this life has been concluded.
